The 20th annual independent film festival, run by the Rockport Center for the Arts. In past years most screenings were about $10, and a student shorts block was free or low cost.
Trick-or-treat at downtown shops all day, with Halloween fun aboard the Rockport Railroad Museum and at the Texas Maritime Museum and Rockport Center for the Arts.

The City of Rockport's free holiday festival has been held the first weekend of December: an illuminated night parade, tree lighting and harbor fireworks on Friday evening, then a Saturday festival with Santa and Mrs. Claus, kids' activities and food trucks at the Festival Grounds. In 2025 it ran December 5–6. We will add the 2026 dates once the city posts them. City events line: (361) 727-2158.
